We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing team. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth by promoting our AWS-focused consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS technologies, a proven track record in enterprise and SMB sales, and excellent communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the East Region by building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers.
    • Develop and nurture relationships with AWS representatives to generate inbound leads.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted strategies to generate leads and drive sales.
    • Attend regional events and conferences.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' business objectives and challenges.
    • Present tailored AWS solutions to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our consultancy services.
    • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of various AWS funding programs and incentives available for clients to help clients maximize benefits and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Sales Cycle Management:
    • Lead the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualifying leads to contract negotiation and closing deals.
    • Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate scoping and alignment of proposed solutions with client requirements.
    • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, AWS product updates, and competitor activities to position Protagona as a thought leader in the cloud and data consultancy space.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in enterprise sales, preferably in the cloud computing or consulting industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
